For the record. The 0.3mm lead version of this pencil is yellow, not black. It's also a little obvious on the zoomed in version of this product pic that the lead size information has been blurred out.

Great mechanical pencil set. Alvin has always had great products. Happy to see them come back. I have the old-style Draft/Matic and wanted to get the new style. DEW was fast and easy to order. Fast shipping. Better price than Amazon. The only small issue was you don't get the box that is shown. Wanted it for display on my desk.

I've been using Alvin Draft/Matic pencils for years. I just really like the feel and quality of the pencil: it's got a good weight and heft, its knurled grip allows for precision, and they last forever. Except when you misplace them! So I needed a replacement — priced at nearly $30 at Amazon.com (!), I found them for sale at www.draftingsuppliesdew.com for less than $10 each. I bought two. Highly recommended.
