The Staedtler Lumocolor universal pen works on almost all surfaces, including for overhead projection. It has excellent smudge-proof and waterproof qualities, with quick-drying ink ideal for left-handed users. The permanent, low-odor black ink is lightfast, and the pen's PP barrel and cap ensure long service life. DRY SAFE technology allows it to be left uncapped for days without drying up. Cons:

I needed a marker to touch up my drawings printed on plastic ink jet film. Sharpies tended to skip/stutter or the tip would rub off printed areas. This marker works perfectly, it glides smooth and clean.

I have gone from writing on glass jars , to plastics, to metals , and even stone , and yes even paper and plastic film, this pen has put up to a lot of use , and it has not failed me yet drys fast , and clean , much better than even Sharpie . i have told others of this pen . it does as it should , then some !!
