The drafting board I purchased is conveniently easy to carry and adjust. It was a good purchase

Functions really well and size is perfect for small drawing projects. Was exactly what I was expecting.

It's solid and works well. It doesn't stand up as high as I would like. Only up to about 45 degrees. Each time I open it one of the wires on the back hangs up on part of the support. I don't understand why the big buttons on the parallel rule. It hardly adjusts, and then only in one direction. The lock is on the side. Would have preferred it the other way around. The one great flaw is the size: it is exactly 24 x 36. This makes it hard to tape down plans of that size. Should have been made 25 x 37.

DEW was super quick to answer any questions I had and equally fast in shipping my item.

One note is that the drawing board is more like 23 5/8” not a true 24”. It is 36” wide. My 24x36 vellum runs off the top or bottom of the board, which is disappointing and should be noted if you’re purchasing for use with that size of vellum/other paper.

The drawing board is sturdy, well made and tilts at great angles! The parallel bar glides over the board very smoothly and doesn’t squeak like other bars I’ve had. It also locks in place with the side knob and has a lot of space for paper/media that has some depth to it. I think it has at least 1/2” clearance if you need it.

One thing I did not count on was how high this board comes off the table. The feet lift it a good inch or more up. Regular chair height is almost not high enough with this board to be comfortable to draw on. It makes getting to the top of this board easier with standing - which works for me. Taller people may not mind this, I’m 5’3”.
