I am a visual artist. This beam compass is PERFECT for my needs. I was afraid that, for the price, it wouldn't be a bit flimsy and inaccurate, but the others I found that made a large enough circle were too much for my budget. I was delighted to find that it does a great job and looks and feels like it will list for the duration of my career.
