I like these to cut with. lines and digits are easy to read. Steel edge allows use as a straight edge without scarfing the aluminum with a knife. I have several in lengths up to 36 inches. And non-slip back helps.

I like the easy to read lines and digits, non-slip back, and steel cutting edge. I have several from 12 to 36 inches and like them all. The raised steel edge keeps me from scarfing the aluminum when I am cutting with a razor knife and helps to protect fingers. I prefer the red or blue, but the black is good. Just easier for my old eyes.

Great tool, but don't drop it!

The steel edge has debonded in the middle, so it is no longer a reliable straightedge. I dropped it, and I think that is why. It ought to be able to handle a fall from 3' onto a carpeted floor! I still want to replace it with the exact same thing. I will just try harder not to drop it.
