2mm Premium Graphite Leads

I bought these because i was hoping to stop spending so much extra for fancy "artist grade" leads and I was not disappointed. I got a few of my most-used grades (4h,f,6b) and all 3 have been performing really well. smooth feel on the page, good tone (inline with what i'd expect based on their grade; the 6b is nice and dark and the 4h is nice and light, etc) and so far no breaks during use.

couple things: the leads are *very* long, and for a couple of my favorite lead holders I had to snap the leads in half and re-sharpen to use. this is not much of a negative (more lead! more value!) but be aware they may not be ready to use out of the box.

the only *actual* negative I experienced was the case the come in: there is absolutely no wiggle room and because of the way the cap rotates, if a lead is even a microscopic amount out of place the cap will catch it and snap the lead. Not a deal breaker by any means (I can simply store them in other containers, and a more careful person could just be very careful with the provided cases) but something to watch for if you do pick up these otherwise excellent leads.
