The Koh-I-Noor Mephisto mechanical pencils feature a well balanced, weighty feel and smooth lead feed. Excellent for precision work, the Mephisto features an easy to load, large capacity lead reservoir. Erasers are removable and replaceable and made from soft, smudge-free vinyl. Mephisto mechanical pencils feature a metal clip and color code indicator for size on the barrel.

Available in 0.5mm or 0.7mm

I got one of these a couple of years ago from another seller. It was a fast favorite. I replace the lead with 2B. I found this site while looking to buy a few back up pencils and was glad to find they also carried the eraser refills. It's hard to imagine why other sites don't stock these. I got them fast and the price was competitive.

The 0.5mm Mephisto is perfectly balanced for small hands. The weight is just heavy enough to feel like a wooden pencil (without having to sharpen the point).
This is my fourth one - only because I keep losing them or they get filched.
