1000H 16-pound Clearprint Vellum is the most popular vellum on the market. Made of 100% new cotton fiber, this media is transparentized without solvents to produce the proper translucency as well as legendary Clearprint archival quality, strength, erasability and redraw characteristics. 1000H can be used with a myriad of fine art materials as well as with traditional drafting products and most inkjet printers.

Fade-Out refers to our printing process on Clearprint Vellum. Grid sizes are measured by number of boxes per inch with the exception of isometric and mm grid layouts. All Fade-Out grids are printed in non-repro blue, which will not reproduce when used with traditional graphic arts cameras. For scanners, this grid pattern will be picked up, however, by editing an image in grayscale, adjusting the brightness and contrast will eliminate these grids. These grids may also be eliminated in computer editing software, like Adobe Photoshop, by removing images from the blue channel.
