This is a basic scale that does the job. The graduations are easy to read. I can see how upgrading to a scale with color-coding would be beneficial if you are using different scales often.

The quality of this product is so bad that it arrived broken. Of all the products that I ordered I would not have expected the engineer scale to be the one that broke in transit.
